Flexible hosting – built for your IT reality

Deployment options

Every project and IT environment is different. That’s why Yolean offers multiple deployment options—from managed cloud service to full control in your own environment. Each setup is designed to meet your organization’s requirements for security, availability, and support.

Deployment models

Shared cloud

Simply create your project and get started.
Access is managed by who you invite to your board. Users invited to multiple projects use the same login across all of them.

At app.yolean.net, a personal start page lists all projects you have access to.
- Runs as SaaS in our EU-based cloud environment
- Secure data separation between projects

Dedicated site

For end users, this works like Shared Cloud. As a customer of a dedicated site, you gain control over the project setup standards. You can also appoint support users with access to all projects and configure which features are enabled.
On the operations side, a dedicated site runs in its own data silo. Data integrity is on the same level as Shared Cloud, with the added option to control when upgrades are applied.

Dedicated site is required to enable Single Sign-On or classified project environments.

Private cloud

Yolean can manage operations with the same efficiency in your own cloud, such as Azure. Yolean continues to handle maintenance, while you manage storage setup and access control.
Functionality is otherwise the same as in the dedicated site model.

- Choose your own domain and cloud provider
- Either grant Yolean operational access or have us train your IT team
- Staging and production environments with automated upgrades
- Supports Azure, AWS, GCP and more

For organizations that want to combine flexibility with control.

On-Premise

Yolean can also run completely air-gapped on your own infrastructure, either as a virtual machine or in Kubernetes. Each release includes a Bill of Materials for review.

- Full operation in your own infrastructure
- No external traffic to or from the production environment
- You handle alerts, incidents, and upgrades internally
- Supports VPN, GitOps, staging environments, and private container registries

For organizations with strict confidentiality and control requirements.
Requires more in-house IT resources.

Add-ons

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Yolean integrates with most identity providers on the market, such as Azure AD.

While your employees benefit from seamless Single Sign-On, you can still invite external users who log in with a password.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Yolean supports login verification through apps such as Microsoft Authenticator and Google Authenticator.
This adds a strong security layer by requiring both a password and a time-based one-time code.

Custom Password Policies

With a Dedicated Site, it is possible to enforce stronger password complexity requirements and set up regular password rotation policies.
